ACCENTURE TAKES AN INTEREST IN TRACTION

We were delighted to be approached by Ali, a member of the Brisbane Accenture team, who generously offered to bring a team of Accenture staff to spend time in the TRACTION workshop helping out.

It’s great when business takes an interest in TRACTION. Our participants love having special guests visit. It reinforces to them that people care. Our participants learn from their life experience and stories and appreciate it when guests listen when they share their own hopes and dreams for the future.

Chris, Pooja, Mac, Simon and Leigh were the first group from Accenture to spend the day with TRACTION participants at the Moorooka workshop, and were followed by Ali, Uriah, Jim and Sagar who spent the day at the Capalaba workshop.

The Accenture team got on the tools, helping our participants with their bicycle build projects and also participated in our ‘Check Out’ meetings at the close of day.

TRACTION is a vehicle to make a difference and we appreciate businesses like Accenture taking the lead in the community. Providing the opportunity for its staff to engage with our participants makes a meaningful contribution helping empower young people in need.
