It makes a massive difference when the community gets behind TRACTION. Earlier this year, Stuart Giles and Cathie Reid pledged the support of their Epic Good Foundation. Epic Good is the vehicle for the philanthropic activities that the Epic Pharmacy Group, Stuart Giles, Cathie Reid and their children are involved with. Epic Good has come on board as a sponsor of TRACTION at West End having donated $6,000 towards the purchase of tooling and equipment to establish the workshop.

Epic Good’s headquarters is situated in South Brisbane, and West End is the hub of the local community. With that in mind, it made sense to Cathie and Stuart to support the establishment of TRACTION’s West End presence, which aims to serve indigenous youth, community groups and schools.

We were fortunate to have Stuart, son Sam and Epic Good’s fantastic Foundation Manager Dr Anita Heiss, visit students from Brisbane State High School this week at the workshop. Sam even got on the tools and picked up a trick or two about bikes!

It’s fantastic when our partners take an interest and get involved in the program.
