Brisbane Southside

TRACTION first delivered programs on Brisbane's Southside in January 2016 from space generously provided by the Peterson family within the Pro Honda Motorcycles business at Moorooka. In 2021, TRACTION established a new workshop at Yeerongpilly.

TRACTION regularly delivers programs in Durack at the Glenala Trade Skills Centre located onsite at Glenala State High School, and also delivers programs on a mobile, community outreach basis, including onsite at schools.

As at April 2021, TRACTION has supported 278 participants on Brisbane’s Southside since January 2016 through engagements with schools, special assistance schools and referral agencies, including:

  • The Murri School (Acacia Ridge)
  • Marsden State High School
  • Beaudesert State High School
  • Inala Flexi Learning Centre
  • Hemmant Flexi Learning Centre
  • Access Community Services
  • Youth Outreach Service (The Salvation Army)
  • Brisbane South Child Safety
  • Inala Youth Service
  • YMCA Vocational School (Acacia Ridge)
